Why? What? How?

My reason for starting this project is create an opportunity for people to have fun who do not always get many opportunities.  I will do this by making a program which welcomes kids with special needs, along with creating a fun and interactive environment for the kids.  My goal for the program i am making is to have a well working basketball clinic where kids with special needs can have a good time and feel welcomed, and have a good time.  My hope for the future is that my camp will inspire other people to do similar things, and make the world a more welcoming place.  I hope that I will learn from my project how to better handle facilitating situations where I am in a leadership role.  Hopefully I will be able to build connections with people who are apart of major organizations who can help me to learn more from this experience.

  1. Good job explaining the why, which was the main purpose of this post. However, the third sentence is not as professional as some people would like. People will think you are sloppy when it is time to be professional. However, you are not sloppy, and your post was excellent as to explaining why. It was just the third sentence that was a little off.

  2. Great job this week. Be prepared for future events. Make sure you get the know the kids you're working with as well.

  3. This is such a great idea. This post clearly let the reader know the why, what you are doing, and how you are planning to help others feel loved and welcome. It seems obvious that you are passionate and committed. Are you doing the clinics for the kids to get better at basketball and learning how to interact as a team, or is it more to just bring kids together to have fun? Either idea would be great!

  4. This is a really good project. I appreciate why you're doing this for the other children with special needs and how you're going to better welcome them into this world. It's a good cause.
